AWSOM provides shelter and medical care for companion animals where they are free from abuse, hunger, fear and loneliness, until placing them in responsible, forever homes.
About This Cause
AWSOM Animal Shelter provides a lasting safe haven shelter for lost, unwanted and neglected companion animals throughout Monroe County, PA. Since opening in 2009, AWSOM has helped over 14,000 homeless pets find their forever homes. AWSOM's no-kill philosophy and emphasis on spay and neuter lead to the creation of the AWSOM Animal Wellness Center, providing high quality, affordable veterinary care to the greater community.
