To raise awareness and ensure that every child impacted by abuse is heard, protected, and receives vital services for their continued safety and future well-being.
About This Cause
The Martin House CAC partners with law enforcement, Child Protective Services, District Attorney's Offices, and medical and mental health professionals to enhance case outcomes and reduce trauma to children who are victims of crime. Each year, more than 700 children from Gregg, Harrison, Marion, and Upshur Counties in northeast Texas receive vital forensic, medical, and mental health support in our family-friendly center. We also provide child abuse education and prevention initiatives so that fewer children will need our services in the future.
