CUPA-US (Compassion Unlimited Plus Action) is an animal welfare organization, devoted to the rescue and protection, caring and nurturance of stray, wounded, abused, owned and abandoned animals.
About This Cause
CUPA-US (Compassion Unlimited Plus Action) is a non-governmental organization for the welfare and nurturance of all animals. It works in tandem with its sister organization, CUPA in Bangalore, India -- providing shelter, treatment, and food to stray and injured animals, including non-domesticated/ wild animals who unwittingly venture into urban areas. CUPA is also engaged in advocacy -- encouraging and protecting the interests of animals in both individual and systemic cruelty cases. Additionally, CUPA collaborates with its sister organization, WRRC (Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre) -- which specifically focuses on the rescue, treatment and subsequent rehabilitation of urban wildlife, including abused and exploited captive elephants.
