About This Cause

CASA of Polk County Inc. works within a national program dedicated to providing quality court advocacy services to abused and neglected children under the jurisdiction of the Dependency Court. CASAs are trained volunteers who are assigned to the cases of children in foster care. We advocate for the child in court and oversee a child’s living situation and education. We have the authority to question those involved in a case and make recommendations to the court on behalf of children. CASA's are a party to the case. CASA of Polk County, Inc. strives to uphold in every action and interaction, compassion, commitment, integrity, inclusivity, justice, equality, and respect. The vision of CASA of Polk County, Inc. is for every child that is a ward of the court due to abuse or neglect, to have a safe, permanent, and nurturing home to thrive and be successful.
