Mission Statement
North Boroughs/Sewickley Area Meals on Wheels is an independent, non-profit, non-denominational, non-discriminatory organization dedicated to the procurement and preparation of homemade nutritious meals which are delivered to seniors and shut-ins enabling them to stay in their homes. This organization covers Western and Northern Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
About This Cause
The Meals o Wheels program is designed to help all those individuals who because of age, disability or illness struggle to prepare their own meals, have no one to prepare a meal for them, have no cooking facilities, or because of health or other reasons, cannot look after their own nutritional needs. Meals are delivered daily to our clients Monday through Friday, by one of our caring volunteers.
