About This Cause
The P.E.E.R. Center is a nonprofit peer recovery oganization. We offer daily drop-in wellness, recovery, and suppor services for persons living with mental health, addictions, and trauma concerns. Our services include multiple daily peer-led support groups, individualized support, connection and socialization activities, monthly outings, and occasional meals. Operated by individuals with personal lived experience and in long-term recovery from mental health, addiction, and trauma, we value peer leadership, belonging, acceptance, authenticity, acceptance and non-judgement. Our wellness services on all elements of the human sphere of experiences, i.e. social, emotional, physical, intellectual, occupational, financial, and environmental. Finally, we envision a world where Recovey Journeys are Honored, Lives are Transformed, and Hope is Sustained.
