Mission Statement

Providing Hope and Inspiration to Families who are dealing with a Pediatric Cancer Crisis.

About This Cause

We provide hope, inspiration, and support to families dealing with by Pediatric Cancer. The core of our service revolves around 1-on-1 mentoring for families new to a Pediatric Cancer crisis with other families "BraveHearts Mentors" that have already gone through the ordeal or having a child diagnosed with cancer and treated. We also create and engage in community projects that funnel resources to families that need emotional, financial, and/or guidance now. Through our unique training and matching process, BraveHearts for Kids matches parents of a child in cancer treatment with support of individuals and families "BraveHeart Mentors" having survived a similar Pediatric Cancer crisis. These 1–on–1 relationships inspire hope and offer the chance to ask personal questions and receive support from someone who is uniquely familiar with the experience. "BraveHeart Mentors" lend support, guidance, and empathy to families of children fighting cancer, helping navigate the system, determine their options and create their own support systems. The service is absolutely free and helps families touched by any type of pediatric cancer, at any cancer stage, from ages 0 to 19 years of age, living anywhere in the United States. Each applicant speaks personally with a staff member of BraveHearts for Kids and all "BraveHearts Mentors" are properly screened and trained.
