Mission Statement
‘A More Balanced World’ has been formed to assist promising, yet economically disadvantaged, students of the world in the achievement of their maximum potentials, by providing them with financial support to pursue education towards their individual capacity and goals.
About This Cause
The organization is founded on the belief that there is an imbalance in terms of educational possibilities for the children of privilege and those of the impoverished, and a great desire among many people of means to help the less fortunate. ‘A More Balanced World’ seeks to help draw the link between the advantaged and the deprived, where possible. Because it is our strong conviction that education and awareness are keys to self-sufficiency, human dignity, and a better future, we opt for the long-term solution of supporting children in their educational goals, rather than other temporary ‘fixes’. ‘A More Balanced World’ is intended as a global ‘not for profit’ organization, targeting the areas of the world with intense poverty, where due to lack of sufficient means and material, parents and/or schools are unable to provide adequate level of education to the children. To reach those remote areas and make contact with the target beneficiaries, the organization establishes affiliates within local communities to help identify the eligible students and coordinate distribution of the donated materials and funds. The organization may also leverage relationships with existing entities with established networks and infrastructure within many communities around the globe, for distribution of its services. The services provided by ‘A More Balanced World will primarily depend on the needs of the students it serves and may include a wide range of assistance, from school supplies, lab and sports equipment and educational material, to tuition, uniform and transportation. To identify the students in need of assistance, the organization will work closely with the schools and/or other educational institutes enrolling such students.
