Mission Statement
The Austin Center for Design (AC4D) exists to transform the world through design and design education. Our emphasis is on addressing humanitarian problems. Students and community members learn to impact large-scale “wicked problems,” that are systemic, deeply ingrained in society, and difficult to change.
About This Cause
Austin Center for Design, an educational non-profit in Austin, Texas, that directs development of design knowledge towards all forms of social and humanitarian problems. We teach the practice and theory of interaction design—designing products, services, and interactions to change human behavior and improve the world.
