Mission Statement
Bidii Children Foundation provides High school and College scholarships to orphans and poor students in Kenya. We also provide mentorship, leadership training, and community service opportunities. We run " Great Idea" competitions and talent shows to encourage entrepreneurship in these students. We also sponsor girls, women, and men development projects to become self-independent through income from the projects and provide nutrition to the children: chicken rearing, Goat rearing, and rotational farming. We Mentor, Sponsor, and Develop communities in need.
About This Cause
Welcome to Bidii Children Foundation, an education non-profit founded in 2009. Bidii Children Foundation supports AIDS orphans and disadvantaged children in rural Kenya to achieve their educational goals through scholarships, mentor-ship and community service. We also support the undeserved in local communities by helping women and men establish and maintain small businesses to sustain their livelihoods. The foundation has been operating on negligible donations but with your help, we aim to increase our support of AIDS orphans, disadvantaged children and under-served girls women, and unemployed fathers in these communities with regards to education and self-sustainability by: 1. Enabling AIDS orphans and at-risk children to enroll and complete secondary school plus college through fully funded scholarships 2. Providing basic supplies to primary school children 3. Mentoring primary, secondary school, and college students 4. Helping unprivileged girls, women, and unemployed fathers to establish and maintain entrepreneurial projects to sustain their livelihoods 5.
