Mission Statement
Excellent primary care for children is at the heart of HopeCentral’s mission. We focus on a smaller number of patients so every child receives the time and attention they deserve. Our multi-disciplinary team of pediatricians and behavioral health specialists collaborate to provide holistic care proven to improve health outcomes over a wide range of issues. Calming kids before a vaccination shot is one of their specialties! HopeCentral also provides a comprehensive suite of services for families with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) including evaluation and diagnonsis, parent education, and autism-sensitive primary care.
About This Cause
HopeCentral is a faith-based 501(c)(3) non-profit pediatric and behavioral health clinic that serves all families in Southeast Seattle regardless of income, status, or belief system. Our two-fold mission is borne out of the conviction that healing is core to the ministry of Jesus and that the church has many resources to offer towards building a healthier community: * To share the love of Christ by meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the Rainier Valley through an affordable primary care medical home. * To engage the resources of the church in a compassionate healing community. Our community, Seattle's Rainier Valley, is home to more than 10,000 children and has some of the worst health statistics in the city of Seattle including high death rates from heart disease and diabetes and the highest rate of asthma hospitalizations in King County. HopeCentral exists to address these health disparities by providing excellent primary care to children and youth. Our primary care practice benefits from enhanced physician access, integrated behavioral health care, and the support of local churches to extend care beyond the four walls of the clinic. We make concierge care available to all families, regardless of income. We are invested in the health of Rainier Valley's children because health is the foundation of individual and community success.
