Mission Statement
Our mission is to be a resource and advocate for senior dogs and senior people on California's Central Coast. We find loving homes for dogs whose guardians can no longer care for them and for senior dogs in shelters.
About This Cause
POMDR takes in dogs from senior people who can no longer care for them and senior dogs from animal shelters who are at risk of being euthanized. We provide all necessary medical care for the dogs in order to put them up for adoption. We have a lifetime commitment to the dogs in our care. They either stay in a foster home for life or get adopted to a new loving home. All of our dogs our housed in foster homes until they are adopted.
