About This Cause

ABC's was founded in 2009 to help bridge the gap in healthcare access in the Philippines. It started with establishing medical mission projects to forge relationships with the communities and make community diagnosis as to the most prevalent diseases. We now have two medical mobile clinics, serving 18 communities with about a total population of 40,000. Our team on the ground sees about 1000 patients each month and has achieved about 80 % control of BP and 40 % blood sugar to target goal. We also launched telemedicine three years before the pandemic which was found to be helpful during the pandemic. Funding is a huge challenge for us. With your help we can do more. Our research and scholarly activities are conducted in partnership with several institutions like Stanford University School of Medicine, California, USA and St. Lukes Medical School, Our Lady of Fatima University , Manila, Philippines, Holy Angel University and Assumption University, Pampanga, Philippines. Our community health projects are conducted with partnership of the local government units( LGUs) and SACOP( Social Action Center of Pampanga and the Archdiocese of San Fernando Pampanga with volunteers form all those institutions and high school volunteers from Cupertino High School, Bellermine, Menlo, Castilleja, Stanford undergraduate and graduate school as well as college graduates from Yale, Santa Clara Univesity, Canada, Berkeley, Columbia, UCSF
