Mission Statement
The mission of the Foundation is to engage current and new partners in collaboration and proactive programs designed to achieve a broadened involvement in the life of Morris Brown College, an increased investment in its academic programs, and a renewed impact in the surrounding community. The Foundation will carry out its mission by soliciting, receiving, and administering gifts for the advancement of the College.
About This Cause
The Morris Brown College Foundation, Inc. authorized by the Morris Brown College Board of Trustees was incorporated in the State of Georgia as a non-profit organization on December 4, 2009 and designated as a charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Morris Brown College Foundation, Inc. is a private institutionally related foundation whose sole purpose is: -Solicit, raise, and manage private support for Morris Brown College -To act as a custodian over specific financial assets of the College; e.g. - Endowments, Scholarships, Trusts, Planned Giving, etc. -To serve as a repository and record keeper of restrictive funds and non- cash assets -To enhance the image and credibility of the college
