About This Cause
45th Parallel is a collective of musicians and audience members who come together to celebrate chamber music performed at the highest artistic level. We believe that the richest musical experiences happen when everyone--composers, musicians, listeners--are involved and invested. We embrace tradition even as we challenge its conventions, creating intimate artistic experiences that have universally human resonance. We are musician organized, musician managed, and people focused. 45th Parallel is comprised of the top classical musicians in the state of Oregon, all of whom also perform as members of the Grammy nominated Oregon Symphony.
