We help those with loved ones with autism and mental health conditions obtain medically necessary treatments through insurance.
About This Cause
We help those with loved ones with autism and mental health conditions obtain coverage and reimbursement through public and private health insurance. We handle denials, write appeals, and get involved with state regulators when there are disputes about coverage. We have recently expanded to assist those with other mental health conditions to get coverage for residential treatment, partial hospital and intensive outpatient treatment. Recent changes in the Federal Mental health Parity Act now require that these "intermediate" forms of therapy be covered. We charge on a sliding scale for those with private insurance to write appeals and manage their cases through the regulatory process. Our success rate is quite high. We educate legislators and regulators on the needs of those with ASDs and other mental health conditions, so that there are adequate laws in place which protect their interests.
