Mission Statement
Our organization strives to assist homeless pets become adoptable thru veterinary care and rehabilitation so that they may live where they are valued as a part of a family or group. We also work towards a goal that no animal who can be treated and/or trained would be killed because there is lack of compassion or space. Included in our focus is to educate young people to have compassion for all animals in hopes of reducing the incidence of neglect and abuse in our society.
About This Cause
We are an organization with 3 main programs, Home Foster based rescue for homeless dogs and cats, The Devoted Barn, TNR for Community Feline Colonies. Our fosters are from various counties in Michigan providing shelter, food and veterinary care for the animals in our care. All have become homeless thru no fault of their own. We rehabilitate feral dogs and some young felines in order to help them become adoptable for families looking for a family, life long pet. The Devoted Barn does care for court cases of abused and/or neglected dogs, pigs, goats, sheep, horses and alpacas, etc. We see animals as beneficial to our lives in so many ways, we want to teach others a compassion for them so mutually beneficial relationships can be developed.
