Mission Statement
Organization’s mission statement: Festival Ballet Albuquerque (FBA) is dedicated to excellence in both dance training and performances. FBA is committed to outreach programs for schools and underserved populations through free performances at schools, throughout the community and at senior centers with a mission to entertain and educate.
About This Cause
¬FBA produces full scale theatrical performance seasons with a high professional standard that not only trains young dancers for possible careers in dance but also provides work opportunities for over 100 local professional dancers, musicians, designers and stagehands. FBA has a vast outreach program that includes free mobile on-site performances and educational opportunities throughout the community in schools, public venues, senior centers and city sponsored events, also providing free theater performances as well. Festival Ballet Albuquerque is funded through private, corporate and government donations and grants as well as through earned income such as ticket sales, benefits and raffles.
