Mission Statement
Animal Shelter Volunteers of Texas (ASVT) is an animal rescue organization located in Montgomery County, Texas. We do not have a shelter, all of our adoptable pets are housed in foster homes. A pet adopted from ASVT will have received all core vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and a microchip. In addition to local adoptions, ASVT funds transports to shelters and rescues around the United States that have room for extra stray animals and arranges for extra medical care for injured animals. About This Cause
ASVT is an animal rescue, specifically companion dogs and cats. 100% of donations are used for the animals; no one receives a salary. ASVT provides foster homes until the companion animal has found a permanent home. We provide basic medical care such as vaccinations, wormers and preventatives and spay/neuter surgery to the companion animals. We market the companion animals through our website, Facebook and by holding adoption events in Montgomery County, Texas.
