Mission Statement
IN2’s name evokes our calling to “Come into Jesus” (Matthew 11:28) and to “Go into the World” (Matthew 28: 19). IN2 seeks to present a culture that reflects Jesus’ desire for us to “come as we are,” and to discover our calling through knowing his unconditional love for us. We seek to take the gospel to the unreached, both our immediate neighbors, and also to the ends of the earth. We seek to allow the Holy Spirit to use us to continue writing the Acts of the Apostles, and seeking through worship and mission to present Jesus clearly as the risen Lord worthy of our worship.
About This Cause
NY IN2 Onnuri Church is a Vision Church planted by Onnuri Community Church of Korea. The Church was planted on Nov 28, 2005 with a worship that started at a school gymnasium with a vision to evangelize young Korean Americans living at the center of world finance, fashion, culture, and politics. Since Nov 2016, God has granted us a place of worship in Midtown, that we might be able to minister to a spiritually needy world with prayer and the word of God. We have prioritized becoming a church where 3 generations can worship together, and have added many worship services for children and fellowship opportunities for Korean senior citizens. We add these efforts while continuing to labor to disciple college students and young adults, as we have since our church was first planted.
