Mission Statement
The Lawfare Project is the only international organization dedicated to enforcing and protecting the civil and human rights of the Jewish people via strategic legal actions. Through the courts and legislative systems, we aggressively fight discrimination and anti-Semitism wherever we see it, whether in academia, employment, commerce, government, or elsewhere.
About This Cause
The Lawfare Project pursues groundbreaking lawsuits and collaborates with some of the most talented attorneys across the globe. We choose impactful cases that set important precedents, punish bad actors, and deter anti-Semitic behavior. With only four full-time attorneys, we work with and manage an international network of more than 400 lawyers and have formed working relationships with more than 40 of the most prestigious law firms. Attorneys in our network were identified based on their records of success, expertise in a range of relevant areas, ideological alignment with our work, and jurisdictions of admission. Together, we have provided thousands of hours of pro bono legal services to the Jewish community and pursued more than 90 legal actions over the past 5 years. In 2017–2019 alone, our network of attorneys contributed $6,000,000+ worth of legal services, in addition to the legal services provided by our in-house attorneys every day. Our clients pay nothing for our services.
