Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve the dignity, quality of life and physical well-being of seniors from around the world through advocacy, education, access to social services, and cultural enrichment activities that benefit the entire community.
About This Cause
ISC is a community center welcoming adults ages 50 and older with a particular focus on those who face barriers of language, culture, poverty, or transportation. ISC clients come from over 20 different countries and live in all parts of the greater Omaha metro area, including Council Bluffs. Our center is nationally accredited and offers weekday lunches through the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging. Daily activities include exercise classes, education, arts, technology, and music, and ISC offers social services such as case management, health care coordination, food pantry, transportation, and more. With all of the opportunities at ISC, older adults can enjoy greater independence and well-being in our community.
