The 7% of operating expenses covers salary of four employees in Afghanistan, rent of an office in Afghanistan, cost of marketing in US, and office expenses in Afghanistan. Team of Panah Charity in US including founder / president are entirely working voluntarily and do not receive any type of monetary or non-monetary benefits from Panah Charity Foundation. Panah Charity's mission is to provide aid via different programs to poverty-stricken families and individuals in Afghanistan. Short descriptions of Panah Charity’s programs are as followings: • Building homes for homeless families who are living in tragic condition in tents with their young children. These families had to leave their villages as the result of ongoing war in Afghanistan and living in tents or clay rooms in horrible situations in Kabul, Afghanistan. Yearly many homeless children are losing their lives in Afghanistan during the freezing winter season from cold weather and during the hot summer season from various diseases. This program of Panah Charity saves children’s life. • Building class rooms for homeless children and creating learning opportunities for them. • Helping needy families to become self-sufficient via Panah Charity’s self- sufficiency programs. These programs help families to stand on their own feet by working and earning income. • Saving children who are working on the street from child-labor and providing them the opportunity to attend school by providing monthly financial assistant to their families. • Building deep water wells in poor locations for needy and homeless families in order for them to have access to clean drinking water. • Sponsoring very needy widows and orphan children / disabled families by providing them monthly financial assistant. • Providing humanitarian aids such as food supplies, tents, clothing, sanitary supplies, and many more throughout the year and during catastrophic situations to families in need. • Providing winter aid during the winter season such as heating supplies, warm clothing for children, food supplies, and blankets to homeless families. • Repairing homes of very poor families such as fixing the roof, windows, walls, and doors of their broken homes. • Providing financial assistant to poor individuals who are seriously in need for medical treatment and can’t afford the expenses. Afghanistan is a war-torn county and poor people have suffered in this country close to 40 years and they are still suffering today. The endless war in provinces with Taliban and ISIS has forced poor families to become homeless refugees in Kabul. Panah Charity is providing an excellent service to families in need in Afghanistan and asks for your donations to continue helping and assisting the neediest and deserving families in this region. Up Coming Project Panah Charity Foundation recently was able to purchase 3.4 acres of land in Kabul to build living units for homeless families with young children. In this piece of land Panah Charity will build 100 living units, school for children, playground for children, grocery store, pharmacy, and a small mosque. Every unit will have two rooms, bathroom, and kitchen. The project will be built under direct supervision of a civil engineer and all safety measure will be considered. Project will complete in four phases. Panah Charity needs financial support to complete at least phase one of the project before winter season and move homeless families from tents to comfortable units and safe their children’s lives.
