Mission Statement
Coat Angels is a 501 c 3 organization located in Chicago Illinois. We purchase coats, hats, fleece and gloves for children who don't have them These children are identified by social workers, teachers, and other public school staff.
About This Cause
Coat Angels is an all volunteer organization. We have no salaries. Our inventory and office space is donated by St John Berchman's Church located at 2511 West Logan Blvd, in Chicago Illinois. Every penny we raise goes to purchase coats, hats, fleece and gloves for children in need. Any purchases that are not those listed above are paid for by our board of directors. These expenses usually include, bags for the coats, and office supplies. Each coat is bagged individually for each child. We have a team of volunteers who go to the schools and make sure the coats fit. Last year we delivered to 4,000coats to needy children at 30 schools.
