Seattle Tabla Institute's (ACIT) mission is to encourage and support the art of tabla drumming & Hindustani music through educational programs, concerts & classes in King County, WA.
About This Cause
With weekly tabla drumming classes online and in Seattle, Bellevue & Issaquah, Seattle Tabla Institute is the leading tabla education organization in the Pacific Northwest. We also offer concerts, workshops, master classes and other events throughout King County. Our volunteers teach, support & encourage music education all over the region, with many free & discounted programs like our annual Children's Music Recital and our NEA funded Access to Ustads Project, featuring master of Indian instruments such as sitar, sarod, bansuri, violin, and more.
