Mission Statement
Our Commitment: Saint Paraskeva Orthodox Charity is non-profit tax exempt organization that provides developmental services through a grassroots approach, focusing primarily on educational projects and social aid for orphans, socially challenged children and children with disabilities within the Romanian Communities in the United States and native land of Romania. We operate in the most under served communities, providing an on-going support through long-term relationships and by partnership with local educational institutions and orphanages. Our organization operates on volunteer-based commitment, ensuring that the entire amount of donations is allocated to our programs; in this way we seek to maximize the donations to be able to make a difference in the lives of those individuals most in need.
About This Cause
Our efforts are focusing on the followings main objectives: 1) To locate and help directly children or families in critical need of support that remained un-reached by other charities or media organizations 2) To corroborate our strategy with other proven Romanian charity organizations that have developed locally successful programs in caring for abandoned, orphaned, or deprived children. Saint Paraskeva Orthodox Charity is committed to encourage public and private participation so as to empower people to change their circumstances and their environment, by fostering sustainable community development which provides for the needs of both present and future generations. We cooperate with programs designated for specific child welfare in Romania and internationally. We are providing goods, services and funds to those that are medically and socially challenged living in under-served areas. We support children with economic difficulties to enable them to go to school by providing scholarships.
