Mission Statement
Taller de José is a community resource center that provides personalized attention to those who have trouble accessing systems in Chicago. We connect people to services and services to people so that all may be one.
About This Cause
By walking alongside people who face barriers as they access resources, we are able to help people break down barriers so they can get the health care, legal counsel, financial resources, and social services they need in order to care for their and their families well-being. Besides the case management we offer all clients, we will travel with clients offsite to any where in Chicago they may need to go in order to access a resource. During these Accompaniments offsite we provide translation, navigation, advocacy, and emotional support for clients as they access the systems and resources that they need.
