Mission Statement

Pars Equality Center's mission is to act as a catalyst for social, cultural and economic integration of Persian-speaking immigrants and refugees from Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan into mainstream American society. Pars Equality Center helps the newly-arrived realize their full potential as informed, self-reliant, and responsible members of the American society.

About This Cause

Pars Equality Center is here to offer and solicit social and legal support for all members of the immigrant community, and that includes refugees and asylees as well. Our goal is to engage community members in the effort to learn and defend their rights and responsibilities as members of the American society. Pars' legal services provides free or low-cost legal immigration services to qualified individuals, providing community members with integration support by offering immigration education, representation, and advocacy. At the same time, Pars' social services anchors the mission of Pars, and is an integral component to overcoming many of the barriers faced by newcomers, assisting them to become self-sufficient members of the American society. Pars Equality Center has offices in Menlo Park, San Jose, and Sherman Oaks, catering to San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Los Angeles counties, California.
