Our mission is to enhance access to and awareness of research driven exercise that improves quality of life for people with Parkinson disease.
About This Cause
Parkinson Wellness Recovery | PWR!® is a unique community neuro-fitness center located in Tucson, AZ. We specialize in research-based, Parkinson-specific rehab, fitness, and wellness programming all in one facility. Clients participate in semi-annual visits with our physical therapists and in ongoing exercise classes matched to their specific goals. PWR! also hosts an annual week-long (7 day/6 night) Parkinson disease-specific PWR! Retreat for people with Parkinson’s and their care partners that immerses participants in exercise, education, enrichment and empowerment programming. Finally, we train physical, occupational, and exercise therapists in our cutting-edge PWR!Moves methodology. Workshops are held virtually and throughout the US, Canada, and other locations around the world.
