Mission Statement
A Forever Home Animal Rescue, Inc. is a no-kill organization with 15 years experience rescuing, fostering and adopting out animals. With us you can adopt a dog or cat to perfectly fit your home and lifestyle. Our Outreach Team provides transport from shelters to our rescue ranch and veterinarians, we provide basic pet supplies, food, water, medical care and above all love to our rescued animals. We are dedicated to promoting kindness and respect toward animals and helping people understand a pet is an important commitment. Our current group of volunteers are highly dedicated, passionate and truly love animals. There is a sense of family amongst us with a strong desire to fight to save pets from abuse, neglect and euthanization. We welcome others to join us in the fight to end pet homelessness and educate the public.
About This Cause
GOALS: - Open a new adoption center facility - Work with local government shelters to save more pets - Provide volunteer opportunities and education - Help facilitate TNR (trap/neuter/release) for feral cats - Build community awareness and camaraderie - Grow the rescue and save more homeless pets lives - Work toward lowering the euthanization rate in the U.S. - Provide pet boarding services - Create a fun zone for locally owned pets and their owners - Offer fun and unique merchandise for purchase ADOPTION: A successful adoption center requires the dedication of many volunteers. Without volunteers, it would be impossible to maintain a quality rescue operation. In order to assure a successful adoption, all pets are: - current on all vaccinations - heartworm free (and on prevention) - spayed/neutered - VERY well taken care of ADOPTION PROCESS: - Contact Lori at lmasters@cfl.rr.com and ask for a pre-adoption application - You may also fill out our form on the Adoption Application tab above - Come visit our boarding and adoption center (optional) - Fill out a pre-adoption application for your dog or cat of interest - We will review the application and call you - We will arrange a meet and greet with the animal of your choice - Set up a home visit check at your home - Fill out an adoption contract for your new pet - Pick up your new pet (or we will bring the pet to you) This is why we need your help. Donations are necessary to ensure we can continue saving lives of animals like a rescue dog, Mitze, who came to us with infections of the eyes, ears and skin (pictured here) and Zack who was attacked by large dogs and almost died.
