African Mission Healthcare strengthens African mission hospitals to serve people in greatest need.
About This Cause
African Mission Healthcare supports mission hospitals, which provide one-third of the medical care across the continent. We focus on health worker training, medical infrastructure, and direct clinical care. HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria, surgery, and maternal-child health are all challenges addressed by our partner facilities. Our partners have often been on-the-ground, integrated within their communities for decades or more. AMHF helps these institutions access funding, train their staffs, upgrade their infrastructure, and procure equipment. We do all this without charging administrative fees. In 2014, AMHF supported direct clinical care for 76,000 clients.
