About This Cause
The Havelock Pregnancy Resource Center (HPRC) is a charitable 501.c.3 nonprofit organization that provides support and assistance to pregnant women, families and single women with children up to the age of two years old within the eastern NC communities. All assistance provided by the HPRC is provided at no cost. The HPRC assists pregnant women by providing free lab certified pregnancy tests which when a pregnancy is confirmed is signed off by our Medical Director and this documentation allows these women to register with the Health Department and start receiving aide from them. The HPRC also provides ultrasound scans at no cost. Before the birth the HPRC provides pre-natal vitamins and assistance for physical needs of a baby to include car seats, strollers, bassinets, swings, bouncy seats, breast pumps, and breast pump accessories. After the birth and up to the child being two years old the HPRC provides diapers, pullups, wipes, formula, baby food, clothing, cribs, playpens, strollers, as well as many other needed items. In certain circumstances the HPRC can also assist financially to help with rent costs, utility bills, food, automobile repairs, as well as other needs.
