Mission Statement
Community Action School (CAS) is a public middle school in the Upper West Side of NYC. CAS was founded in 1994 by current principal John Curry with the mission of providing a supportive, rigorous educational program for a diverse learning community .The program has won numerous awards and has consistently been one of the top-performing schools in New York City, as measured by growth in student achievement.
About This Cause
The organization FriendofCASInc is our 501c3 to raise funds for our students at Community Action School. We are a Title I school looking to provide for our students in all ways possible. Donations will go directly towards helping fund materials and/or programs for our kids. A $25 donation purchases school supplies for one student whereas $275 purchases one Chromebook (laptop) for one student. In April 2017 we held our first ever fundraising event which was such a success we plan many more in the years to come. Help support New York City's youth by donating to FriendsofCASInc!
