Mission Statement
Our mission at MidSouth Pug Rescue is to support the Pug breed in their time of need by rescuing Pugs from dirty, unhealthy or dangerous conditions and finding them "forever" homes where they can live out their lives in a happy, healthy and safe environment.
About This Cause
Our mission at MidSouth Pug Rescue is to support the Pug breed in their time of need by rescuing Pugs from dirty, unhealthy or dangerous conditions and finding them "forever" homes where they can live out their lives in a happy, healthy and safe environment. All pugs are seen by a licensed veterinarian where their health is assessed, they are spayed/neutered, given necessary inoculations, treated for all treatable diseases (including heartworms,) and microchipped. The pug is then moved into a foster home where their temperament is determined. Do they get along with all family members including children and other animals? That information helps us to find just the right "permanent" home for each pug. Pugs that are deemed unadoptable due to age or ailments are kept in "hospice" care where they live out their lives in comfort and safety. All funds received go directly to the pugs, We are all volunteers; we have no paid staff.
