Mission Statement
Friends of Williamson County Animal Center's mission is to promote and support quality of life for all animals and the humans who care about them by ensuring a compassionate environment and humane treatment for the animals of Williamson County. Friends of WCAC's mission focuses on three general areas: 1) to provide support to Williamson County Animal Center, 2) to increase community awareness regarding animal welfare, and 3) to support public policy that provides for compassionate treatment of animals.
About This Cause
Friends of Williamson County Animal Center has provided needed veterinary care for shelter animals, facility improvements to support a healthy shelter environment, pet food to food pantries so families can keep their family pet, promotion for shelter adoptions, community awareness of the shelter -- all with the goal of maintaining animal save rates at best-in-class levels.
