Mission Statement
We believe it is our responsibility to spread the message of FIRST. We must strive to create an interest in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) by educating our peers about the benefits these fields have on the world around us. We must also continuously attempt to create and foster interests in the STEM fields, all the while ensuring the sustainability of our current and past commitments.
About This Cause
Said corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The general purpose shall be to promote interest in science, engineering and technology to middle school and high-school aged students through the participation in the FIRST Foundation Robotics (www.usfirst.org) competitions, successors and related activities.
