About This Cause
Covenant Homeless Family Shelter provides supportive services and housing solutions for children and families who are on the verge of homelessness or already homeless. The economically disadvantaged families come to us distressed, discouraged, broken, and paralyzed by their combination of circumstances. We welcome participants with love, care, and compassion. We currently serve those in need by collecting food and basic essential donations, then distribute them freely to the targeted recipients and agencies who serve targeted recipients. We have partnered with Good 360 and now have access to truckloads of donations, Covenant Choice Prepares for Hurricane Season with Good360 This year, projections indicate one of the most active hurricane seasons on record, with up to 25 named storms and 12 hurricanes. At Good360, we can close the gap between abundance and need. For disaster, we do that by getting prepared. Companies, it’s not too late to support your associates and communities by donating products or funds to help mitigate the effects of hurricanes. The better prepared we are, the better we can respond to natural disasters. The communities we serve are targeted communities already identified by city and state resources to be the area with severe needs. Any amount of donation will help to further mission of providing supportive services, housing solutions, and food distribution and basic essentials. Good 360 donation loads are from Walmart, Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, Advance Auto, and so much more. Each truckload donation will affect every community member in need, in All the Miami-Dade County is home to about 3,800 homeless persons, 1,033 of whom are unsheltered, according to the most recent point-in-time count.
