Mission Statement
Our mission is ending the euthanasia of cats and dogs in local shelters and keeping pets in their loving homes by providing professional and affordable spay/neuter and wellness services.
About This Cause
UCAN is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization formed in Ohio in 2001. We believe that every person deserves the love, companionship and health benefits that a pet provides. We operate a veterinary clinic in Cincinnati, OH that serves the Greater Cincinnati Tri-State area and we focus our efforts on low-income pet owners and community cats. We offer affordable (free to those who cannot afford it) spay/neuter surgery, vaccines and other basic veterinary care so every pet has a vet and pets stays healthy and in their homes rather than being surrendered to a shelter. We also provide free spay/neuter surgery and vaccines to community cats to keep them from reproducing unchecked.
