In Madesh Pradesh in Southern Nepal 1 in 2 girls get married when they are still children. 1 in 3 girls experience domestic violence. To address these and other issues we opened the only safe house for underage girls in the region. The Janakpur centre provides shelter, education, care, counselling, legal support when needed and skills training to the girls to equip them for a successful future.
