Next Leadership and Water for the World NLA respond the the world water crisis by building bio sand water filtration projects and delivering emergency water purifying suitcases to the epicenters of non drinkable water. The syphony of men and women respond to the need regardless of the reigious affiliation of the villages or the tribes. The Need defined by a child dies every :23 seconds of every minute is our call to action. We respond out of the common need to be givers of life through a drip, a drop that becomes a drink!
About This Cause
Under the auspices of Eagle Ministries INC , Next Leadership Association birthed Water for the World NLA to serve the vast population of the world's most critical need... Drinking Water. This humanitarian crisis goes beyond the borders of religious denominations, creeds, or tribes as the weakest, the youngest and the elderly of humanity find themselves caught in the vortex of contaminated, disease filled, parasite laden water . The cause drives us to seek for simple solutions that can be replicated and implanted quickly. The results is the Bio sand filters and the emergency suitcase. Both of these answers carry with them the support of the CENTER for AFFORDABLE WATER SANITATION and TECHNOLOGY. Cholera and Typhoid can be eliminated in under 21 days from the time of introduction in a community. with improved drinking water comes improved health. Sanitation and hygiene are caught as well as taught. The goal is clean water, that infuses a community with a self supporting , self sustain economic process that is duplicated and replicated for generations. The bio sand will last 40-50 years with minimal maintenance cleaning approximately 400,000 gallons. This system uses no electricity to operate as it is a gravity feed filtration system. The suit case has a life of 20 years, cleaning 2.4 million gallons of water. The small 28 lbs unit operates on a variety of electrical currents, car batteries or solar panels. Water for the World NLA teaches, trains and educates men, women and children in the field of water sanitation, purification and hygiene.
