Mission Statement
Common Goal is levering the universal language of soccer to level the playing field on and off the pitch. Over the last 20 years, we have built a global community of high-impact community organizations, professional athletes, clubs, and coaches, brands, and individuals who are working toward a day when every young person has a safe space to play, learn, and thrive, no matter their circumstances. We are the leading "soccer for good" community in the world, unifying best-in-class sport for development organizations to advance solutions to some of the most pressing issues of our time: social inclusion, gender equality, and climate action. Soccer has over 4 billion fans worldwide. If designed with intention and leveraged for social impact, it has the potential to be the greatest changemaking force of our time. We believe it can reach this potential, but that it requires us to collaborate on a radical scale, making our collective impact much stronger than the sum of our parts.
