About This Cause
Cody's Friends Rescue is a 501 c(3) all breed rescue organization based out of north Dallas Texas. Formed officially in 2011, we are a "foster" based organization and rely solely on the volunteer efforts to help us pull neglected/abused/abandoned, dogs from shelters throughout Texas and adjoining states that are on "death row". Along with the shelter "saves" we also have numerous surrendered dogs come in and strays that we are contacted about. Our needs are many but in 2017 our medical expenses exceeded 175K. Most of our costs go to treating HW positive dogs that come in but food, bedding and mileage costs are abundant and we can only do what we do because of charitable hearts like you.
