Mission Statement
The Steve Smith Family Foundation exists to be a voice for the voiceless, helping families who lack access to care or deal with complex trauma.
About This Cause
Our nonprofit, founded by former NFL player Steve Smith and wife Angie, works in two focus areas: the prevention and awareness of domestic violence, and giving families access to medical and mental health care. We operate the Smith Family Wellness Center, which gives free and reduced medical and counseling to underserved populations in Charlotte, NC. To date, we've served 4,200 uninsured and underinsured patients who lack access to care and social mobility.
