Mission Statement
Our mission: To inspire kindness and compassion for farmed animals everywhere. Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary, located in Campbellville, Ontario Canada, was founded in 2014. Since its inception, Happily Ever Esther has been dedicated to rescuing abused, neglected and abandoned farmed animals. Our goal is to provide a safe, life-long home for all of the rescues and to educate the public about the true nature of farmed animals through tours, volunteer programs and community outreach.
About This Cause
We have taken a run down property with a neglected barn, and 50 acres of land that had not been maintained in over 20 years and have made an idyllic spot for our nearly 50 animal residents to live out their natural lives. We converted one home (a trailer) into our office and store, and have fenced the rest of the property for our residents' safety and health. We have thousands of volunteer hours annually, and conduct over 80 tours each year for people from all over the world. Our tours are focused on letting people know about how rich our residents lives are and what their personalities are like. Our focus in on people learning that our residents are sentient beings and deserve to be treated with kindness and love, like we hope all farmed animals will be one day.
