Our mission is for families, staff and students to work together to strengthen the Sands Montessori community of lifelong learners.
About This Cause
The first public Montessori school in the nation, Sands provides a culturally integrated education that nurtures the relationship between the child, parent, school and community for ages 3-12. Multi-age classrooms, hands-on learning activities, outdoor education and a robust fine arts program makes Sands unique. Sand’s community of empowered, responsible, life-long learners benefit from hands-on experiences that guide students from concrete to abstract understanding. A strong partnership with families and community members is essential to Sands success.
