Mission Statement

Caring Kitchen is an outreach ministry of Champaign County and the surrounding communities, based upon the Bible and motivated by the Love of God, with the primary purpose to be an advocate for and to provide services without discrimination to people in need. This includes the following: • To operate an emergency shelter for those with no place to stay. • To operate a soup kitchen where everyone is welcomed to come in and enjoy a hot, balanced meal. • To operate a food pantry for those in need. • To distribute donated new and used clothing, furniture and household goods to those in need. • To provide additional services that are consistent with the primary purpose.

About This Cause

Caring Kitchen operates an emergency homeless shelter, soup kitchen, clothing and household goods pantry, food pantry, tutoring center, utility assistance program and more for Champaign County Ohio and serves as overflow to aid surrounding counties.
