Mission Statement
The mission of Reach Out Lakota is to assist families in the Lakota School District who, through some form of hardship, have found it difficult to support their families. We are "Putting help and hope into the hands of our community."
About This Cause
Reach Out Lakota is a non-profit, ecumenical, community-sponsored organization that gives eligible families in West Chester and Liberty Township, Ohio food and clothing, as well as paper, cleaning, baby, personal care, and household items. No one can predict a layoff, fire, or unfortunate event. In 2022, Reach Out provided approximately 254,000 pounds of food, 69,300 articles of clothing, 31,100 personal care/cleaning/household goods, along with Thanksgiving food baskets, Christmas toys, Christmas food boxes, and school supplies to nearly 3,800 individuals.
