Mission Statement

Companion Animal Rescue Effort (CARE) takes animals from shelters, has them vetted, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered, then finds them permanent homes through adoption to qualified homes.

About This Cause

Founded in 1989, CARE is a non-profit rescue operation, funded through donations and adoption fees. The primary donors are the founders, Carole and Karl Santone.
