About This Cause
Friends of Forks Animals helps to provide low-cost neutering and spaying for pets in the Forks and West Clallam County, Washington area. Friends of Forks Animals also assists the City of Forks in caring for animals in the city's animal shelter; reducing the feral cat population by TNR and fostering feral kittens for placement through other animal care organizations in the county. Friends of Forks Animals also provides limited emergency medical assistance for pets and limited provision of pet food to low-income pet owners. Friends of Forks Animals provides educational literature to the local population regarding care and treatment of pets, what constitutes animal abuse, the importance of spaying or neutering pets, the benefits of flea treatment and other issues. Friends of Forks Animals maintains a Facebook page providing information and entertainment, and providing a forum for contacting the organization.
