About This Cause
Engaging the community and fostering opportunity; two statements that embody what the Fargo Public Schools Development Foundation is about. Thanks to our donors, community partners, and the dedication of the Fargo Public School District we are able to help students take full advantage of one of the best educations in the region, and achieve even more. Growing up, most of us had at least one remarkable educator who influenced us, encouraged us to do better, aim a little higher, or just be more self-reliant. Thanks to YOU, the FPS Foundation is able to help our teachers and students feel important, valued, and special, just like your favorite teacher did when you were growing up. The Foundation is a nonprofit organization, governed by an independent board of directors. We are supported with tax-deductible annual and endowment gifts from alumni, businesses, service clubs, parents, current and former school district staff, and the Fargo community. Full of excitement for the journey ahead. We are deeply thankful for YOU and your support. Each time we witness the joy in the eyes of a teacher who has received a classroom grant for a special project, or when our high school seniors receive a scholarship to attend college, we are reminded - behind every successful student is a dedicated teacher, but behind every successful teacher is a dedicated community.
